Princess Louise was born on 7 December 1724, at Leicester House, in London. She was the daughter of Caroline of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Queen Consort of Great Britain and Ireland (1 March 1683 - 20 November 1737) and George II, King of Great Britain and Ireland (10 November 1683 - 25 October 1760). Her maternal grandparents were Duchess Eleonore of Saxe-Eisenach and Johann Friedrich, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach. Her paternal grandparents were Sophia Dorothea of Celle, Hereditary Princess of Hanover (15 September 1666 - 13 November 1726) and George I, King of Great Britain and Ireland (28 May 1660 - 11 June 1727). Louise's parents were married in 1705, in Hanover. Her siblings included: Frederick, Prince of Wales (1 February 1707 - 31 March 1751), Anne, Princess Royal and Princess of Orange (2 November 1709 - 12 January 1759), Princess Amelia (10 July 1711 - 31 October 1786), Princess Caroline (21 June 1713 - 28 December 1757), Prince George William (13 November 1717 - 17 February 1718), Prince William, Duke of Cumberland (26 April 1721 - 31 October 1765) and Princess Mary (5 March 1723 - 14 January 1772). Louise was baptised 22 December 1724, at Leicester House, London. Her grandfather, George I died on 11 June 1727. He was succeeded by her father, as George II. Louise married Prince Frederick of Denmark and Norway (31 March 1723 - 13 January 1766) on 11 December 1743, in Altona, Holstein. He was the son of Sophia Magdalene of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, Queen Consort of Denmark and Norway (28 November 1700 - 27 May 1770) and Christian VI, King of Denmark and Norway (30 November 1699 - 6 August 1746). The couple had five children.

Sophia Magdalena of Denmark (3 July 1746 - 21 August 1813) Married Gustaf III, King of Sweden in 1766.
Caroline, Landgravine of Hesse-Kassel (10 July 1747 - 19 January 1820) Married William I, Elector of Hesse in 1763.
Christian VII (29 January 1749 - 13 March 1808) Married Caroline Matilda of Wales in 1766.
Louise, Princess of Hesse (30 January 1750 - 12 January 1831) Married Prince Charles of Hesse in 1766.
Her father-in-law, Christian VI died on 6 August 1746. He was succeeded by her husband, as Frederick V. Queen Louise died aged 27, due to complications from a misscarriage of her sixth child, on 19 December 1751, at Christiansborg Palace, in Copenhagen. She was interred at Roskilde Cathedral.

My Grandfather has a painting of a Louisa with the date 1724 and some of the words that can be made out are 'Studienkopf' and 'England' and 'Danmark'...Who could this be? I would attach a photo of the painting if it was an option.
